Is there an age limit?

Hop Haus believes you’re never too young or too old to jump full of joy!


I’ve heard bounce houses are unsafe when it gets windy, how can I make sure my guests are safe?

We use heavy-duty stakes and/or commercial-grade sandbags for extra reinforcement. Hop Haus takes safety very seriously and understand winds can increase quickly and forcefully. No one should be in the bounce house if winds exceed 15 MPH. We ask that you use your best judgement and re-inflate when it seems as if the wind has died back down.


Does your pricing include set up and delivery?

Yes, it is included in the rental price. However, additional fees may apply if more than 20 miles outside of Minneapolis, MN.


What are the bounce house party rules?

The main rules while bouncing in the castle are:

  • no shoes

  • no food or drink

  • no pets

  • don’t exceed capacity

  • no climbing or bouncing off walls

  • no face paint, silly string or confetti

  • no balloons inside

  • no children under the age of three or below 42”

  • no rough play, wrestling, or flipping

  • supervision required

  • 220 lb limit per person

  • no more than 6 people jumping together at a time


Why is there a 3 hour minimum? 

Well, why would you want anything less!? The real answer is that we take our rentals seriously and limit each house to one party per day. This gives us enough time to properly inspect, sanitize and install without needing to rush. We have found that 3-4 hours is perfect for a birthday party, baby/wedding showers, or other similar celebrations. We recommend 6 hours for a wedding to allow time for your guests to let loose a bit ;)


How far do you travel? 

We will always travel within a 20 mile radius of Minneapolis. If your event is outside of that radius, please inquire and we will let you know what the travel fee would be for your location!


What if it rains? 

Weather can be rather unpredictable, so we provide you with the option to reschedule or cancel your event 48 hours prior. Please keep in mind that all deposits are non-refundable, so it is important you reschedule in a timely manner. If we deliver and set up, and it then rains, there will be no raincheck, refund, or discount.We require cancellation 48 hours in advance.


How do I secure my date? 

Head to our booking page and select your date / time! Once the deposit is paid, your event is reserved.

How many guests can jump at one time?

We recommend no more than 6 people at one time. It is important that someone at the party is appointed to be aware of the guests entering and exiting the bounce house to ensure everyone’s safety and keep the bounce house below capacity.


Where can I place the bounce house?

Ideally a flat, clean grassy area within 80 feet of an outlet. The space should be free of any sticks, rocks, animal waste, or toys. Our white castle is 16 x 16 feet and about 16 feet tall. You should have about 3 feet of clearance around the perimeter of the unit with 6 feet of clearance by the entrance, exit and overhead lines.  


We have an event at a park, can we rent the bounce house?

Of course, our bounce house looks beautiful at parks. However, most parks do not have power and a generator will be needed. Most parks are first-come, first-serve — Hop Haus will not be responsible for reservation of the tent/park/pavillion.


Are you insured?

Absolutely! We carry General Liability insurance with coverage up to $2 million. Your safety is our #1 priority!


Do you require a deposit at the time of booking?

Yes, to secure your event date we require $100 deposit. The balance is due 3 days prior to your delivery day/time. Deposits are non-refundable, but we can apply it towards a different date within a full calendar year.


How far in advance do I need to book my event?

We suggest booking as soon as you can to make sure it is available for your event! We prefer at least one week before the event - but due to high demand, we can’t promise it will still be available.


What if i know the date but not the venue? 

No problem. As long as we have an idea of the city your event will take place in, we can confirm the other details as it gets closer to your event.


Are your bounce houses clean when they’re delivered? 

We clean and disinfect the bounce house before and after each event. Not only do we want to maintain the integrity of the bounce house, but we want them to be beautiful for your event. We use hospital-grade disinfectant to make sure any and all germs are wiped away.


How long will I get the bounce house? 

We have two options; it is three hours for a half day and six hours for a full day. Overnight rentals upon request. We will set up your bounce house at least one hour prior to your event and work with you on the best time to pick it up.


What if i don’t have electricity near the bounce house? 

It’s okay! We can provide a generator - it is listed as an add on when you book your reservation.
